The company: One of Sydney's most dynamic fintech companies is growing and is looking for a passionate mid-level Data Engineer to drive growth within the data team.
This business already has a substantial market presence here in Australia, wider APAC, Europe and increasingly delivering their software into the largest financial services firms in the US.
Your role: will be focused on
building out new features in their data capability line. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, product-led team where you'll have the

What you’ll be doing:- Take ownership of the Azure-based data platform, working with Azure Data Factory to enhance existing data pipelines.
- You will play an important role in designing and building a new "insight portal," transforming raw data into powerful analytics.
- You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner to assess current systems, build POCs, and drive the future of the company's data capabilities.
What you'll bring to the team:- Proven experience in a product-focused environment
- Expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF) is essential
- Strong software engineering background with C# and Python
- PowerShell and SQL are highly desirable
- Experience with building data pipelines in cloud environments
- Experience with data architectural concepts
- A collaborative, self-motivated attitude and a passion for data
