A small, energetic and expert team is inviting a Design minded, Front End Engineer to shape the visual identity of their products, bringing complex data to life through engaging visualizations, and crafting seamless user experiences that resonate with their clients.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces with a focus on visual aesthetics and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, product managers, and other engineers, to ensure cohesiveness and feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Translate design concepts into code that will produce visual elements of the application.
- Implement interactive data visualizations that allow users to understand complex datasets easily.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web accessibility standards are met.
- Continually evaluate and incorporate new and effective front-end technologies and tools.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Document technical decisions and code in a clear, concise manner.
- Proven experience as a Front-end Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills
- Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like Svelte.
- Confident with data visualization technologies (e.g., D3.js).
- Familiarity with standard design tools (e.g., Miro, Figma).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to articulate design decisions and development approaches.
