Mid-Senior Software Developer with
.Net Core to grow with this innovative market leader in their specialised field of
‘smart city & innovative parking solutions.'Reporting directly to the CTO, your primary focus will be to
help build, lead and support the development team through the effective application of development methodologies, software development techniques and leadership.
What you will be doing:Assist the business in designing and developing software, overseeing its delivery and ongoing maintenance (70%) and mentoring (30%):
- Help build, mentor and lead in some development.
- Help manage the Azure hosting environment.
- Ensure Production systems and troubleshooting issues are maintained.
- Contribute to management of product backlog, sprint backlog, repos & CI/CD with Azure DevOps
- Innovate development.
- Oversee activities of 3 developers, with plans to expand onshore team imminently.
- Design and develop software using SCRUM methodology (fortnightly sprints).
What you will bring to the team:- 3 - 5 years strong commercial software development experience in ASP.Net Core / MVC & SQL Server.
- Some exposure to cloud hosting (Azure is ideal).
- Ability to work using agile system development practices (SCRUM).
- Ability to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Telerik Framework (nice to have ).
- Payment gateways (nice to have).
- A great sense of humour!
